I always thought it was weird when people described themselves. Oh well... now it's my turn. Since I was a child I loved to write. Unlike a lot of authors, whether it be from the viewpoint of a boy or girl, I loved to tell stories. My origins started in horror, evolved to fantasy and now I major in Science Fiction and minor in everything else. No seriously, I have written books in every single genre! Can you believe it? I can't. I write way too much. All the same, it's what I have always loved. When I was a little kid, my teachers would ask me what I wanted to be. Don't get me wrong, I had my phases. Tornado Chaser was a big one followed by cop and then super hero... in the order. The dream that always lasted was that despite my 9-5 I wanted to tell my stories to the world. While I don't feel my art is perfected yet, my dream is coming true and I am sharing my "gift" with the world.
The reason I decided to publish a supernatural book first was because I wrote it for a dear friend of mine. Uncomfortable with supernatural books, and not necessarily the largest fan of werewolf stories, a challenge was presented to me. Given several small details, I wrote a story that I hoped all fans of all types of stories could enjoy. It's dark with a hint of humor and sarcasm, just like myself.
Having come from a small town in Colorado, with little more than the mountains and my imagination to amuse me and my siblings, daydreaming wasn't just a school-time annoyance for our teachers, it was our real world and reality was our unfortunate distraction. I can only hope the world enjoys what happens inside of my mind as much as I do.

“These are the things I learned (in Kindergarten):
1. Share everything.
2. Play fair.
3. Don't hit people.
4. Put things back where you found them.
5. CLEAN UP YOUR OWN MESS.
6. Don't take things that aren't yours.
7. Say you're SORRY when you HURT somebody.
8. Wash your hands before you eat.
9. Flush.
10. Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you.
11. Live a balanced life - learn some and drink some and draw some and paint some and sing and dance and play and work everyday some.
12. Take a nap every afternoon.
13. When you go out into the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands, and stick together.
14. Be aware of wonder. Remember the little seed in the Styrofoam cup: The roots go down and the plant goes up and nobody really knows how or why, but we are all like that.
15. Goldfish and hamster and white mice and even the little seed in the Styrofoam cup - they all die. So do we.
16. And then remember the Dick-and-Jane books and the first word you learned - the biggest word of all - LOOK.”
